Obscure is not only one of the top Community Themes out there, but it is also FREE. Packed with great community-style features and design this theme is sure to turn your simple and boring blog into a tight community.

The overall look of this theme is a dark grey, however, it is a very clean and elegant design that will truly make your content and images stand out. With that, the homepage has a really cool and beautiful rotating feature content box that will automatically fetch images from your featured posts and display and rotate through them on the homepage.

Like other community-based themes, Obscure allows for threaded comments, gravatars and guest posts (i guess all wp themes can do this though). Plus, it has that very common page navigation at the top and category navigation at the bottom under the logo look. So people will recognize your blog as a community-site.

WP Obscure is currently on its 1.2 version as it has been released a few times to help remove any bugs in the system. The theme developers take their work very seriously and will probably continue to update the theme as they become available.
